Views are logged incorrectly as Updates

Hi Support Team,

I am just trying to solve a problem on a multisite set up and noted, that every single page I visit on the backend without clicking any save or cancel button is automatically logged as “updated”. That obviously causes some confusion on what actually has been updated and what was just viewed.
Is there a way it can record the actual change? Ie provide a before and after state.

In a FileMaker database I have a function that records a timestamp, user, table and field name, old and new value of the field for every change that is made and presents it in a text field like this:
date time user table::field old value new value
19/08/2021 1:55:14 PM Regine Contacts::Status Customer -? Staff
19/08/2021 1:55:12 PM Regine Contacts::Status [—] -? Customer
19/08/2021 1:55:04 PM Regine Contacts::NameFirst [—] -? Regine
19/08/2021 1:55:01 PM Regine Contacts::RNCO Department [—] -? Land Sales & Marketing

Something like this would be fantastic to really see any changes made.
