No, since the plugin only retrieves the data it tracks and WordPress doesn’t store views by default.

Now, on the bottom of posts on the editing screen there is a Top 10 small dashboard, where there is Visit count: … It allows to enter any number. What is this for? for some articles, even when I put 5000, they are not seen among most popular (max 500) since the plugin still takes into account the visits from its installation day which was 3 days ago.

The count session there is for the overall count and not the daily count. If you’re using the widget you need to choose overall and not custom period

I want to have both of them on the same page. I am using [tptn_list daily=”1″ daily_range=”1″] for daily views and [tptn_list] for overall views. But the last one show the articles with most views from several days and does not take into account the count session.

[tptn_list] will display the overall count.

Please clear the cache if you’re updating the count.

    ok thanks

    But I have another question.

I manually entered total views from google analytics thinking that Top 10 will add new views to this number. But this number hasn’t changed since several days.

Is there anyway to make Top 10 add new views to this manually inserted number?

Where did you manually insert these? Were these in the post metabox at the bottom of each post edit screen?
