    Hello,

I have created a villa renting website using the VikBooking tool and after uploading 2 examples of villas and trying to book using the search form i put on the home page, it doesn’t work. Nothing is shown just a blank page with only the header and footer. but when i try the search form in this URL : ‘https://localhost/Mywebsite/book-now/’ it works. How can I make it work on the home page searching form ?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Thanks for contacting us. For the home page we always suggest publishing a Widget, not a Shortcode. This way all the WordPress URL routing and SEF functions can work properly.

There’s a widget called “Search Form”, just like the Shortcode, that you can publish in the home page to let the guests start the booking process and land on a page of Vik Booking where you have added a Shortcode.

We invite you to reach out to our technical support team through our websites should you need any help, but if you are working on localhost, then we won’t be able to actually check your website home page or settings.

    The VikWP Team
