    Hi,

    We have Vimeo videoes embedded on our website. I read that these should be blocked by default in order to not track anything /gdpr.

    I noticed there is a shortcode for cookie_after_accept] Your content goes here… [/cookie_after_accept]

    But is there a similar function for “cookie before accept”? Ideally I would like text to appear below the video stating that you have to accept the cookies. But not display it when it is already accepted?

    Greetings from CookieYes!

    Our latest plugin version does not support the way you are currently trying to block videos from Vimeo. We now have the legacy and revamped versions used by our users. The legacy version of the plugin doesn’t have the feature to block Vimeo or YouTube embeds and to use them, you will have to upgrade to the pro version.

    As an alternative, we recommend that you switch to our revamped interface by following the steps outlined in the guide here. Once you’ve completed the migration, you will be able to connect to our web app with a free account and use it to scan for cookies. This will automatically block Vimeo videos and display a message indicating that consent is required to play the videos.

    Hi! I am using Version 2.3.9 and have the pro license. I am now noticing that the text I wanted is displayed on top of the blocked video, which is fine.

    It says “you’ll have to accept analytics cookies (where Vimeo is placed) in order to see the content”

    However the link to analytics (blue text – see image) is not clickable. Any way I could modify this link so that it leads directly to settings? Where can I change the text strings?

    Might also add I am working with the cookie banner in WP, and not through your website.
