    Hi,
    It would be really great if it worked for Vimeo Pro and Vimeo Business videos…

    I tried with this video and I could download it :

    @da23ad when you say “it” are you referring to the Gutenberg block this plugin provides, or the Shortcode embed method?

    I have tested both of these embed methods with the Vimeo Pro video you provided, and this Vimeo Business video. In my testing these videos play fine in the player just like standard Vimeo videos:

    You say “I tried with this video and I could download it” could you be a bit clearer on exactly what steps you took?

    I used shordcode… I dont use Gutenberg, it’s disabled.
    I have just tried with the Big Bunny video and I was able to download it too (with downloadHelper chrome extension)

    This plugin won’t block “download embedded video” browser extensions from working, such as Video DownloadHelper if that’s what you are referring to.

    This plugin prevents non-technical users from accessing the underlying YouTube/Vimeo player, by overlaying a custom player. This is to prevent them from easily obtaining the URL of the video itself, in order to reduce sharing of private videos.

    I’m afraid your request is out of scope for this plugin.
