Vimeo Videos not showing up

I have tried inserting vimeo video as described by simply inserting the url on its own line. I have [auto-embed] checked off in the media settings.

I don’t have the option to check off anything for OEmbed. I’m not sure how I can get OEmbed to appear.

I also tried pasting the code from Vimeo into the post but it didn’t work.

I also tried downloading a Vimeo video plugin which didn’t work and so I deactivated it.

How can I get the video embed to actually work?
