Vimeo Videos not shown in FancyBox

    Hi all,

    I’m struggling a bit with Easy FancyBox and Vimeo Videos. In the settings I have enabled that Vimeo Videos shall be shown, as well as activated Autodetect for detecting the videos. However, pictures are shown in FancyBox, Videos are just ignored and skipped to the next picture.

    I’m pasting the Vimeo video by simply copying the sharing link from Vimeo like https://vimeo.com/12345689/abcdefghi?share=copy and WordPress recognizes the video link as well as renders the video on the page, but FancyBox justs skipps it. What am I making wrong here?

    Are you talking about the gallery feature? The plugin will not automatically group images and videos in one gallery. It could be done manually though…

    If you copy the share URL and paste it into WordPress, it will probably be automatically converted into and embedded video on the page. Is that the case? Easy FancyBox cannot work with already embedded videos. It needs a link to launch the video in a light box.

    Add an anchor text or an image to your page, then link that text or image to the Vimeo page. Easy FancyBox should then be able to pick that up as a media link and open the video in the light box.
