Ving-Plus Has Fatal Error

    Hi,

    I just purchased Ving Plus from the developer website, and downloaded and installed the theme successfully. However, as soon as I try to Activate it or use the Live Preview, I get the following error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_shop() in/home/ [I’ve removed my server and user name from the url here] wp-content/themes/ving-plus/functions.php on line 356

    So far I’ve not created any child themes or modified anything, this is straight from the theme as installed. ?? Ving worked perfectly when I was trying it out earlier, but as soon as I purchased and installed the premium version this error occurred. I technically don’t need the WooCommerce element of the theme, so if any possible fixes involve turning it off that’s not a problem. At the moment I’ve reverted to the regular Ving theme with my child modifications, so providing my site url probably won’t help. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

    Hello xenutia,
    This is a bug in the theme. For the theme to work, you currently need to install WooCommerce plugin along with the theme and it should work just fine.
    This bug will be removed at the earliest.

    You can just install WooCommerce for the moment. I will notify you here when the theme is updated.

    The error has been fixed in Ving Plus now.
    You should be able to download a bug free version of the theme now.

    Thank you so much for the swift response! I installed the WooCommerce plugin and that did fix the error, but I’m sure the bug fix will be a big help to others as well. ?? Lovely theme, btw!
