VINquery

  • I really need to be able to use VINquery and I have signed up for a trial account and confirmed I have web service access. I was successful at decoding one VIN out of several attempts. I want to use standard reports rather than extended to save money and I have some free trials I can use to help me get setup. What I don’t understand is why does it say VIN has been decoded but no fields are populated. Also, the condition, stock number, miles fields don’t show on the vehicle detail page once the vin has been decoded. Could you shed some light or tell me if I’m expecting too much from the decode feature? Is VINquery reliable? etc

    I am able to decode with VINquery but the results are sometimes unpredictable. That is probably to do with the integrity for data on their side rather than the plugin. I do still have the issue whereas the stock number, miles, condition info ect is not showing on the DETAIL page, only on the LISTINGS. I suspect this has to do with the theme and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good theme choice to go with this great plugin? Also, I can’t figure out how to populate the About tab. Any help or imput is appreciated
