• I’m experiencing an issue with Vipps/MobilePay recurring payments in WooCommerce. The system declines the payment after the initial charge.

    I set up a 7-day free trial, but since Vipps/MobilePay doesn’t support a free trial, I configured it to charge 1 kr initially. However, when the next scheduled payment is due, it gets declined.

    Could you help me understand why this is happening and how I can fix it?

    Hi Nicole,

    This plugin does actually support making 0 kr “payments”. The way it does it is essentially using a “price campaign” in the app, where the price is 0 kr now, but the full price later. In your case starting in 7 days.

    Do you get an error when trying to configure your product in the way I explained above?

    By the way, we are in the progress of sunsetting this plugin in favor of a combined Vipps MobilePay payment plugin. You should be able to download the new plugin and deactivate this one, and it will work out-of-the-box. You can find the new plugin here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woo-vipps/

    Hi Macus, Thank you for your answer. It still dosen’t work. i tried to make a test product – with a one day free trail, dosen’t work https://nicolepiper.com/vare/maanedligt-medlemskab-test/ try it out. I reinstalled to plugin, it just dosen’t work for me.
