Hello,

I have a problem with Woocommerce order status after payment, I have only virtual+downloadable products on my shop, and after succesful payments, order status doesnt changes, still is “Payment Pending”.. I’ve tested 2 payment gates providers, but the same, hosting provider tells me that there is some problem with WordPress itself…
Could you help me?
.htaccess is standard for WordPress
turned off all plugins, only woocommerce, elementor and payu (payment) left.

Hi @goweb,

This particular forum is for questions that are directly related to the features and functionality of the free WooCommerce plugin. It does not, however, offer support for questions related to any extensions like payment gateways or themes which can work with WooCommerce.

Within the WooCommerce plugin, a status of Pending Payment indicates that WooCommerce thinks the order has not been paid for. There are two reasons this status would display on an order.
- The order has not successfully been paid for. If this was the case you’d see no customer funds displaying within your payment gateways merchant account
- The order has been successfully paid for and you see the customer funds within your payment gateways merchant account. The payment gateway website has however not been able to contact your WordPress installation to update the order status from Pending Payment to either Processing or Completed
I’d suggest contacting the support team for the P?ac? z PayU: przez PayU SA you have installed on your site to make sure that’s configured correctly. I’d also check if that plugin uses WebHooks to contact your site after payment to update order statuses, if so check the WebHooks are configured correctly.

OK, I understand, and thanks for fast reply,
Its second point for sure “The payment gateway website has however not been able to contact your WordPress installation to update the order status…” but I dont know why exactly… I sent tons of emails to hosting provider, to previous payment gateway (Przelewy24), and now with PayU is the same, noobody knows where is the problem, so thats why I wrote here, maybe some of you had the same problem, because Przelewy24 and PayU are common gateways (in PL) and they provide payment plugins for WooCommerce, so i dont believe that they just dont work like that…
ok I will wait for PayU response, and check WebHooks, and let you know.

Hi @goweb,

If the payment gateway is not able to contact your site that would not be usually related to the WooCommerce plugin or WordPress software. It could however be something on your hosting web server which is blocking those services from communicating with your website.

Yes, sorry, you can close this thread,
problem was with Przelewy24 plugin and PHP above v7.1. and they working on it.
PayU after verification works fine.
