Virtual Map Tracker Plugin

Hi,

I would like to to install or edit a plugin which will allow users to track themselves virtually on a map.

For example, the goal is to run the distance between two locations – users would upload their mileage and the virtual tracker would display their position on a map. Note, this is virtual so they don’t need to run the actual route.

A good example is at this link but i cant find a relevant plugin…

Any suggestions please?
