I compare it with te same file prom 1.5.5. and it has the same code

Are you using WP-PageNavi plugin

Try deactivating it..
i’ll will report this to author .It can be easily fixed by this

Error is coming because of usage of wp_pagenav() function which conflicts with the plugin

I try and there is no error, but I do not see any options in theme options. Generaly smth is wrong.
