Virtue 2.3.7 on WordPress 4.1

    I am wanting to update my WordPress version from 4.0.1 to 4.1, and thought it would be prudent to see if the theme I am using, Virtue 2.3.7 (free version), “supports” WordPress 4.1.

    But I cannot find any statement about what WordPress version Virtue works with, perhaps I am not looking in the right places?
    So – are there any known issues with using Virtue 2.3.7 in WordPress 4.1?

    PS: FYI, https://www.kadencethemes.com/product/virtue-free-theme/ still lists the Virtue version as 2.3.6, while here on www.ads-software.com points to the 2.3.7 version.

    It’s a few days ago – definitely current and compatible with WP4.1 :)!

    Yes, I have seen that page – that is how I get to this support forum. And I had looked at that page for the information, but could not find anywhere on that page which version of WordPress it “works with” – are you saying the information is on that page and I am overlooking it?

    I also know the theme was recently updated but that does not necessarily mean it “works with WordPress 4.1”, I think.

    If it didn’t the support forum would be full of people screaming about problems with their sites.

    If in doubt, always back up your site before updating.

    Theme pages don’t have that info – if you’re comparing it to a plugin’s page.

    F: I am looking for info X
    W: Go to page Y
    F: I went to page Y, can’t find X on page Y
    W: Page Y does not contain X
    F: Then why did you point me to Y???

    It’s apparent you are not able to find the information I was looking for either. Hopefully someone who knows will respond.

    Yes virtue supports 4.1 it’s safe to update.

    Thats for the tip on our site, that has been updated to 2.3.7

    PS: FYI, under “Additional Information” on https://www.kadencethemes.com/product/virtue-free-theme it still lists the version as 2.3.6…
