Hey, it looks like you just pasted the youtube link into your visual area. You need to insert it through the “instert youtube” option located in the toolbar toggle section on your edit page. As far as the images below, I would use a different plugin.

    thank you Hannah,

i added the youtube video with the icon on the editor menu. The layout is still different on the mobile version. i even made the size of the images to fix better. As for the instagram plugin what’s wrong with it? Why should i change it?

What exactly are you wanting from mobile view? It is not going to look exactly the same as it does on a desktop because it is significantly smaller. As far as the istagram plugin if you like the way it looks in mobile then keep it, but it doesn’t seem to be very responsive. But that’s up to you.

    hannah,

On my last theme the page looked the same just smaller. I want everything to be centered for some reason everything is left aligned. Also the one row i made with 3 photos ended up being right under one another instead of instead of horizontal across the screen.

It sounds like previously you weren’t using a responsive theme so it just showed your site but zoomed out. This theme is a responsive theme so as the screen shrinks the layout changes so you don’t have to zoom in and out to read text, click on links, view images and so on. On mobile columns are supposed to breakdown into rows because scrolling is much more native in a touch environment.

You can check out the demo here on your phone and see how this them is supposed to look: https://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue/

If you don’t want a responsive look for mobile and want to go with the zoom in and out then you don’t want to use a responsive theme.

You can customize the excerpt in your edit post page. You may need to select “screen options” at the top right and find excerpt then there will be a box allowing you to add in your desired text.
