Virtue Free – edit theme template

    Hi there
    This is a basic question as I am a newbie.
    I want to add a code to the themes function php. Where can I find the Virtue Free themes function php? (code didnt work in the Custom CSS box).
    Basically, I dont want ability to click on product which then opens to product detail page. Instead want shop listing->product->external website.

  • Hey,

    If you’re planning on adding functions to the theme, it’s necessary to use a child theme. If you don’t use a child theme, you’ll lose all of your added php whenever you update the theme. Php code will not work in a CSS box either.
