Virtue Theme – mobile theme works but doesn't look as good

So my site is up and running and I like how it looks.
I have turned on the mobile theme and added the correct menu and it works.
However,
the site looks so much better when it is viewed in desktop mode.
If I switch off the mobile theme, the mobile site looks great but the menu won’t work.
It’s there ready to be touched to be dropped down but it won’t do anything.
Is there a way to have the desktop look of my site but with the user friendly (i.e. working menu) that the mobile theme has?
