• Hi, I just tried using the Virtue theme together with the Tiled Galleries by Jetpack and tested – when I disable the Virtue toolkit galleries work like charm, however I cannot set the pages to be without a sidebar. When I enable the Virtue toolkit, it immediately disables the Tiled Galleries.

    Any suggestions?

  • Hey! Be sure that you have disabled the Home Slider in the Theme Options, it seems like perhaps that may interfere with the Jetpack gallery. After that, I would clear your cache.

    Hope that helps!

    Hey,
    You can enabled the toolkit then go to the appearance > theme options > misc settings. Scroll to the bottom and click to turn off the virtue galleries. That will keep the virtue galleries from overriding the jetpack gallery.

    Hi! Thank you both for suggesting – I tried both options and neither one of them worked… @KadenceThemes – do you think there could be anything else?

    Hey,
    I can test and as long as I turn off virtue galleries the tiled galleries work fine. Can you post a link so I can confirm the theme galleries are off?

    Hello. Sure, the link is here: https://filipovphotography.com/gallery/

    The virtue galleries are definitely off as there is no lightbox anymore, but it is the Virtue toolkit that disables the tiled galleries. It is tested, but I will be glad to provide you with login and password for test…

    Hey,
    Your site shows that you have turned off the lightbox but not the gallery actually. The gallery is still on because the output is still that of the virtue gallery.

    If you would like I can take a look. [email protected]

    Hi Kadence Themes,

    I’m having the exact same issue. I removed some code from your php files before to remove your gallery to fix it but after upgrading to 1.4.4 it came back and my “temp” fix no longer works.

    Please help, I’ve tried all the options you mentioned above.

    Thanks!

    Were you able to fix this @eatstaylovebulgaria?

    Fixed it by commenting out the following in the virtual tool kit galleries php file

    //remove_shortcode(‘gallery’);
    //add_shortcode(‘gallery’, ‘kadence_shortcode_gallery’);

    Hey @ynotlim,

    If you installed virtue then pinnacle you would just need to activate virtue and make sire you have the gallery turned off for virtue as well as pinnacle in the theme options.
