  • Hey @sergialarconrecio,

Thanks for sharing this. This is definitely a false positive. The developers are currently looking into it and contacting cPGuard. I’ll be sure to update you when I know more.

    My apologies for the inconvenience.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

I have deactivated the plugin with the new WordPress function that lets you enter recovery mode. But I want to know when everything will be solved to reactivate the plugin with the file is automatically deleted by the false virus that is detected.

    Hey @sergialarconrecio,

A customer just informed me that cpGuard had pushed an update to address the issue. Can you please install a fresh copy of Wordfence and let me know how it goes?

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

It already works well and it seems that it does not delete the file by false virus. I have tried it in a new installation. But in the other you will send an update of the plugin so that the file deleted by the false virus is added or I upload that single file manually to solve the problem.

    Hey @sergialarconrecio,

Thanks for the update, and happy to hear it.

You will need to either upload a fresh install of Wordfence or that particular file since it’s been removed, as you mentioned.

Please let us know if anything else comes up.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

Works. I have added the file that was automatically deleted and everything works and the file is not deleted. I have added the file of the latest version.
