Hello

I recommend Forminator with my eyes closed. There is no rival in ease of use, conditional logic and wealth of options.

A little criticism. There is in my opinion a contradiction in the fact that we can condition the display of almost all fields except the page break. Contradiction because if I don’t want to show the address field or the email field if the name field is empty, it would be logical not to allow the jump to the next page.

I guess the excellent developers of Forminator are aware of this problem. Is there any hope in the near future of being able to condition the visibility of page breaks?

If that’s okay, can you share some additional details, or maybe a form export using https://pastebin.com where we can observe this exact use case along with a descriptions of the steps and result vs what you’re expecting?

To install the snippet:
– create the wp-content/mu-plugins directory if it doesn’t exist
– copy the code from the snippet to a .php file (filename doesn’t matter)
– upload the .php file to the mu-plugins directory
– test

I tested the code snippet for mu-plugins. It does not work. My problem is not the empty pages.

What I would like is to be able to condition the visibility of the Next (Siguiente) button in a form with pagination. I can condition the visibility of the Email (Buzón electrónico) and Address (Dirección) fields. They are not visible until the Name and surname field is filled in. And yet, the Next (Siguiente) button is still visible.

Isn’t there a contradiction?

Wouldn’t it make more sense if we could condition the visibility of the Next (Siguiente) button, like we can do in the next page with the Send (Enviar) button? This button is not visible as long as the Text field remains empty.

Thank you, once again, for your attention. And my apologies for raising a point of detail. It takes nothing away from Forminator’s awesome quality!

Indeed the page break doesn’t support visibility rules, unfortunately, it is not easy to create a workaround so we can’t provide any code solution.

We sent this ticket to our developers requesting this feature, we can’t give an estimated time or guarantee that we are going to include it but you can follow our roadmap on https://wpmudev.com/roadmap/#forminator
