On my web-site front-end, this comment is showing as the first line:

/* Placement of Google Tag snippet – asinstructed by the plugin: Google Tag Manager for WordPress by DuracellTomi’s */

    Please see here: excellench.com

    How can I remove this?
    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thanks for your question.

This sentence is not part of my plugin, I assume your website builder put it into somewhere of your theme (maybe the header.php in the theme dir) but instead of using HTML comments, he/she was using JavaScript comment style.

(there is a “placement” option in my plugin which might be set to custom in your case but as far as I can see the codeless option should work on your site without issues)

    I hope that helps,

    Thanks Thomas.

I just found it in header.php – right after the custom snippet.
    Removed it…
