Visible Products not working

    Hi There,

    For some reason my product pages are showing all the up sells and not the number entered in the “visible products” section.

    If it’s any help when I customize the template it is working correctly.

    Originally I had it set to 4 and it showed all 6 or 7 of the listed up sells. Then I tried doing just 1 to see if that helped but it didn’t.

    I cleared the cache but this didn’t help either.

    When on the product page it shows all of the listed up sells and is not working as a carousel except when in editing template from appearance.

    I am using a child Astra theme

    Hello @swankypaws

    You are using the “autoptimize” optimizer plugin and you have probably compressed your HTML and JS. I’m almost sure that it is in him. Temporarily deactivate it to test my guess.

    If the carousel is not working due to a plugin, try this:

    1. Activate “autoptimize” again. First, try to check the box in the settings of our plugin “Initialize JS only after loading the whole page”. If this does not help, then go to the second item on this list.
    2. If the first point did not help, try disabling html compression in “autoptimize”.
    3. In “autoptimize” add to the list of JS exclusions of our plugin “wp-content / plugins / carousel-upsells-and-related-product-for-woocommerce / assets / js / glide.min.js”
    4. Try other “autoptimize” settings

    pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

    if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.

    Exactly, the carousel is working. You need more fine tuning of the “autoptimize” plugin

    Adding plugins/carousel-upsells-and-related-product-for-woocommerce/ to the comma-separated JS optimization exclusion list will likely do the trick ??

    Thank you so much it worked perfect.

    I added plugins/carousel-upsells-and-related-product-for-woocommerce/ to the JS exclusions and it’s working exactly as it should.
