Visitor can’t see x to close popup; how to fix?

    I just got an email from a visitor: “keep getting the splash page (he means popup) with 15% discount and the “X” to close it is off my screen. So I’m stuck on the splash page.”

    What setting should I adjust to fix his problem?

    Make sure your popup is set to Top Center Position found in the Display Settings Pane within the Popup Editor. That should fix the issue.

    Don’t foget to create a Cookie on popup close, if you haven’t already.

    It’s strange because I disabled the popup on mobile devices and it looks fine on desktop. So I enabled the ESC and F4 close options and wrote back to him to let him know he can also close with those buttons. I asked him what kind of device he’s using to view, so waiting to hear back. And yes, I do have the cookies set so it doesn’t come up for 10 days if they close it.

    If your popup was positioned to Middle Center, then this type of behavior can occur because it’s different depending on monitor size. Setting the Position to Top Center should fix the issue.
