Thanks for this @badr2020 I’ve tried installing most of the same plugins and tried to reproduce the issue but couldn’t yet.

I have added a new system check which will be available in the next version so it’s more easy to find the root cause hopefully (added the change in https://github.com/matomo-org/wp-matomo/commit/a38e00108255409bb18bf2b88fa2865050ab9419#diff-ca76420ccf40e7866f7032f87693bb2dR18-R454)

It seems like Geolocation is likely set up correctly.

Are you saying all visitors are logged with the IP of your server? Is your server based on Russia maybe?

Hi @badr2020 have you maybe had a chance to look at my last comment? We’ve now also released a new version that shows some more entries in our system report around “location”. It be interesting to see if it shows maybe more information now.

@badr2020 We have added a new setting in “Matomo -> Settings -> Advanced”

If it was detecting the wrong location because it was using the server IP, you can now select a different proxy IP header. The UI will explain it.

Besides this we have also added some additional checks for location in the system report that indicate whether things work as expected.
