Visitor map doesn't work

Hey,

first of all: nice plugin, I am using it in multiple sites and it works fine.

However, I am running a site where the Visitor Map doesn’t work properly: there are no countries highlighted and the map key shows only one color with 80 to 80.

Is this a known behaviour, or else: what could be the reason?
