    Hi,

    I have an issue : a user can register on my website without ticking the “I agree to the terms of service” box.

    I tried deactivating all plugins other than buddypress, but the bug remains, so this is due to the plugin ??
    Could it be due to :
    – the version not being updated to WP 4.6.1 ?
    – the fact that I use a Multisite ?

    Thanks for your report, I’ll have a look. It’s tested up to 4.5.4 and BP 2.4.3, maybe they changed something lately.

    I did a quick test and couldn’t reproduce the issue. I’ll test it with a multisite installation shortly.

    If you can provide further information (or maybe a link to your site?) please let me know via reply or e-mail: [email protected]

    Thank you!

    Hey, thanks for your time ??
    My website is still under construction :/
    I really think it’s the multisite thing that makes it bugguy (as many WP plugins get bugguy with Multisite, from my own experience) ??

    Hi slyvershyne,

    I tested it again with a multisite installation and had no issues. If the box isn’t checked, it’s not possible to proceed with the registration for me.

    Hey,

    Ok I spent 5 jours searching again, and it turns out it’ a buddypress bug : if I put Xprofile field in another group than “Base” it creates the bug…
    So it’s fixed now, pfew..

    Thank for your time and your support, will give you a good review for that ??

    I’m looking for a recaptcha plugin that will work with this plugin. WP-reCAPTCHA-bp places the recaptcha in odd places that change from browser to browser.

    No CAPTCHA re CAPTCHA outright conflicts with this plugin and won’t allow the box accepting terms to be checked.

    I’m hopeful you are away of recaptcha plugins that work well with your plugin. Thanks!

    @steigw try Wp Spam Shield, you won’t need any capcha with this ??

    @slyvershyne, good to know, thanks.

    @steigw:
    I’ll have a look on that, didn’t notice yet, that there are any incompatibilities. I’m using “BuddyPress NoCaptcha Register Box”, it’s designed to fit into the register page and I have no problems either with spambots, or with malfunction.
