    my blog is https://www.copywriting4b2b.com

    If you click the No comments link at the bottom of a post, the post is displayed separately. Then when you click the Leave a response link, nothing happens.

    I’d prefer to set it so that visitors only have to click once to get the comments input screen, but at the moment it would be nice just to to be able to add comments.

    I’ve had a couple of other problems with this theme but the theme author has said he doesn’t have time to sort problems out and has suggested I find help elsewhere.

    Any ideas folks?

    Carol

    I know what it is, but I don’t know why! When clicking on “no comments”, your visitors are referred to https://www.copywriting4b2b.com/archives/28#respond, which is good, but there is no comment field. It seems as if your single.php doesn’t have the comment function…

    Check your single.php for the comments_template call
    <?php comments_template(); ?>

    Also check the you actually have a comments.php file in your theme’s folder.

    That helps – at least I know where to look now. I’ll let you know if that resolves my problem. Cheers!

    Sorted – you guys are fantabulous – is that a word?

    The statement was in the single.php but it showed as

    <?php // comments_template(); ?>

    So I took the // out and now it works fine – thank you so much.
