• Hi,

I have made a copy of a webshop that needs a makeover, and in this copy, the visual editor and html editor (text) do not work. The issue is mentioned more often here, but then the html part does work, but in my case it does not.

I tried disabling all plugins, changed the theme to a default one (I am using divi) but that didn’t help.

The line of code in wp-config “define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false);” didn’t help either.

Another solution was disabling the visual editor in my user profile, save and enabling it again. That doesn’t work either, even though I can edit the content when the visual editor is disabled. So that seems to point to the visual editor being the problem.

The strange thing is that the original site doesn’t have the issue, even though they use the same hosting, same account type and same php settings.

Now I just need a solution!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Try:
Troubleshooting with your browser. Your browser can help you identify JavaScript issues or conflicts and this article can assist you in doing that diagnosis. This could help identify Visual Editor issues as well.
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
