Do shortcodes or Elementor widgets work with new Visual Builder Forms?

I moved to Visual Builder Forms however I can’t use grid_forms shortcode to display all of the forms I made. Simply empty area shows up.

In addition is it possible to switch default payment method inside Stripe Element? By default it is trying to force Card payment but on the right side I have couple of more payment methods. I’d like to chose one of them.

    Thank you.

    Hi @estedog,

    Happy to clarify.
Elementor widgets do not work with Visual Builder forms just yet. Our team is working on that in the next coming weeks. You will see an update for the GiveWP Donation Widgets for Elementor plugin when it’s ready.

By default, the Payment Element uses dynamic ordering to optimize which payment methods appear for each user.

    Hi,

Thank you for quick response. Any idea why shortcodes are not working either?

I mean, the only shortcode that works is the one where I specifically point the ID of the form. However grid shortcodes are not working.

    Hi, @estedog.

When you say the shortcodes are not working, can you clarify what you mean? I’ve been testing them lately and they worked as I would expect.

If you can give us examples, share screenshots, and explain how to replicate the issue you are seeing, it will be easier to replicate them and report them to the development team if needed.

Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!

    Hi @matheusfd,

The problem that I’m having is that only one out of three forms is visible in grid section (but also in classic view mode of donations, or in Gutenberg block when I try to add a donation form).

I can see the donation form when I use single shortcode, but it seems like database is not registering all three forms. It is weird because I made the first one in Visual Builder and then duplicated two more. They have pretty much same settings. I tried recalculating statistics for all donations that I made but nothing seems to do the trick.

    Thank you.

    Hi, @estedog.

I’ve tested the Visual Form Builder (VFB) forms on a staging environment and I duplicated and published some forms. When I created a new page, I could see all the three forms there – the original one and the duplicated ones. At this point, it’s working on our end and unless we can reliably replicate the issue, we are relatively stuck.

I’ll be happy to test it again if you can give us steps or pointers to replicate the issue.

Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further inquiries or require additional assistance. We’re always happy to help!
