    Hello,

I have been using WordPress to run my website for quite a while. With each update to WordPress, not much has really changed in terms of how I use the various plugins and software that it offers, so I can’t be sure that this issue a result of an update. Either way, it may be helpful to know that I am running the latest version of WordPress, 4.5.2.

Visual Composer doesn’t seem to be working. This has happened suddenly, and as a person who is not so technically-inclined in terms of coding, this is very bad. I have used the Visual Composer for nearly everything, as its simple WYSIWYG UI has removed the need to know any sort of advanced coding. It was working one day and then stopped working the next.

Whenever I go to edit a page, for example, I can see a mix of code and VC elements in Classic Mode, set to Visual setting. In Text setting, all I see is code, which is expected. However, when I click on my VC options and select “Backend Editor,” (which is what previously showed me a WYSIWYG clone of the page I am editing,) all the text and elements disappear, and it’s blank. When I click to “Add Elements,” the menu with various VC elements pops up, but nothing is added when I select.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Otherwise I can’t really do anything with my website until I learn code more fluently.

    Regards,
    Omar
