Visual Composer Teaser Display

I am using visual composer (VC) plugin with customizr. It operates fine other than one significant issue. I have narrowed the issue to the customizr theme by testing multiple theme on this system and others.

ISSUE: The viewer cannot see the teaser summary does not show up for posts using VC. The code view shows that it may be looking for the default summary rather than the custom teaser allowed with VC. Please see tspkey.com/blog for reference.
