Visual editing not responding on my website

    Please help with my website here which is not editing when on “visual” but stuck on “text” edit.
    It’s not adding media on top of editor too, button not responding

  • Have you tried deactivating all plugins? If it starts to work after that, you can try reactivating plugins one by one to see which one is the cause.

    If this doesn’t work, you can try activating the default theme Twenty Seventeen and see if it works then.

    Did this start happening after any updates?

    Also, Try Troubleshooting with your browser. Your browser can help you identify JavaScript issues or conflicts and this article can assist you in doing that diagnosis. This could help identify Visual Editor issues as well.

    Thank you @goviral for your kind help.
    I deactivated all the plugins and start activating one after the other until I found the culprit.
    Got to “UnPointZero content slider” and the visual editor started working, including the add media button.

    Thank you very much for assisting, now I have to find a new content slider as there is an empty space on my home page and their website is not opened.

    I thank the moderator too for the suggestion, lucky enough I didn’t have to go any further

    I have another website here where the same content slider was installed, I uninstalled it but still couldn’t use visual editor.
    I changed theme to twenty seventeen and it worked.. What should I do in this case as I want to use that theme “red carpet”?

    It sounds like your theme and the content slider have a conflict. If you want to keep the theme, it might be worth checking out some other content sliders.

    Have you completely deleted the plugin file?

    You can check out this article from WPMUDev for some other great content sliders.

    You might also want to check out the WordPress repository for some other free themes. These are themes that are tested and known to work well. There are literally hundreds and I’m sure you could find a blog style theme like Red Carpet.

    You might like to check out some of these free magazine/blog style themes.

    I found nice content slider, smooth slider.. website here
    Now I cannot set it to fit in the table as on picture My image
