Visual Editor Breaks With WP 3.8.3 Update

    I just upgraded to WP 3.8.3 and found that the WP visual editor was hanging. It would load the editor page and just give a blank white box where the editor should appear.

    This did not happen with WP 3.8.2.

    I went through and turned off all of my plugins. The problem was gone. Turning the plugins on one by one showed that TinyMCE Templates was the culprit. I tried turning off all plugins again and only enabled TMCE Templates. Same problem.

    For now, TMCE Templates is disabled and I’ll have to cut/paste large blocks of code instead of it’s one-click convenience.

  • I upgraded to WP 3.8.3. and now have the same problem.

    I’m having the same issue, apart from I deactivated all my plug-ins and the problem was still there.

    I’ve made my own thread before the moderators tell me to create one.

    Problem is fixed with version 3.4.2 of TinyMCE Templates.

    Confirmed to work with WP 3.8.3.
