Visual Editor Forced?

Hi Scott,

Prior to WP 3.5, the visual editor was needed in order for the media upload dialog to function properly. E.g. file upload fields required that the TinyMCE/wysiwyg components be active.

I’ll patch this for the next version of CFS. In the meantime, you’re welcomed to apply this fix yourself. All you’ll need to do is comment out line 12 of core/fields/wysiwyg.php:

//add_filter('wp_default_editor', array($this, 'wp_default_editor'));

FYI – I had to (temporarily) revert this change in v1.8.7 due to some side-effects:
