Visual editor jumps to top when adding a link

    Hey, folks! I’m running v. 4.9.8 with a bunch of plugins. (Rather than list them all, I thought I’d see if this was a known issue first.)

    Whenever I’m using the visual editor, if I add a link to a piece of text, the moment I’m done it jumps me right back to the top of the page.

    The link is added, but as you can imagine it’s really annoying to have to scroll all the way back down if I have other edits to make on that part of the page.

    Has anyone else seen this jump-to-top behavior? I tried disabling the plugins I thought might affect it (TinyMCE Advanced and TinyMCE Custom Styles), but no joy.

    Any thoughts? Thanks!

  • Hi,

    click on SCREEN OPTION inside the post editor (top right corner). Enable the full height editor may solve your jumping problem. Don’t forget to reload the page after checking the box.
