Visual Editor missing after migrating to new server

well probably your user settings have change, have you looked at user options for “Disable WYSIWYG”

It looks as though then, that the button images are not being displayed. If you moved server, it may be trying to access your old server – did you change all urls to point to your new domain. i.e in wp-> options, assume you have otherwise whole thing wouldnt work.

Also try clearing all your browser cache, close browser and relogin.

all urls are correct. Which bottom images did you mean?

There are problems with TinyMCE, I think, because I had an error with TinyMCE undefined function.

There is no matter which browser or computer is being used, they all show same pic – html editor in place of visual editor.

In that case you may have not copied all the files.

I would try to replace the directory
wp-includes / js / tinymce
completely with the latest copy from wp2.5.1 download

If that doesnt work then do a complete refresh of the files (in affect upgrade without replacing your own files)

I installed fresh copy of WP 2.5.1, but on the same database and I had the same result.. ?? maybe there is some problem with CHMOD?

Is your new server have compression set on?
