I have about 10 users on my WordPress site. All 10 users have the Author Role due to them all writing for my news media outlet. The only way I can get the Visual Editor to be present is if I give everyone Editor roles which I do not want to do. Is there a way to modify the Authors role to give them all access to the Visual Editor? Need help with this asap and if there is a plugin that would do the trick please let me know that as well. Thanks in advance for the help!

Everyone with access to write posts has access to the Visual Editor.

Have them visit Users -> Your Profile to make sure that “Disable the visual editor when writing” is not checked.

I have confirmed and all users have this option unchecked so they should have the ability to see the visual editor but it’s still not populating or showing them the editor. Please advise.

Ok, try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
