Visual Editor Not Working after Upgrade to 4.0

    In both cases compare on your ftp this folder:

    /wp-include/js/tinymce/plugins

    with the same folder on the 4.1 zip file you can download from WordPress.

    SOLUTION!

    WordPress 4.1 After going through all the steps with plugins and theme changes. I discovered something that fixed the problem that I believe has not been discussed. There is option under User > Profile to disable visual editing. Mine was checked. Gasp…well maybe it will help someone.
