• Dear all,
(yes I have looked for and read through a bunch of similar q&a here in the support forums but couldn’t find a satisfactory answer / solution) my problem is this:
I used to see it but now I can’t see the visual richt editor anymore. I have checked the respective boxes under “users” and “options”. I have even done a complete new setup (new database, new wordpress installation). The editor just won’t show up anymore. What gives?
(Windows XP, FF 1.5.0.2, latest WordPress).
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

  • Check that the entire wp-includes/js directory really is there. Do not assume your ftp client uploaded it – check.

Press ctrl and f5 on the Write screen.

    See if they help?

Thanks for the quick reply. But those were the things I already read in other threads and already tried out but to no avail.
I only get to see the html-edtior.
I could work with it but things like that really drive me nuts ??

    Any more hints, anyone?
    Thanks,
    obentz

I.m having what seems to be the same problem as Obentz. Very frustrating, not visibe code.

Logged in to your admin, go to “Users”. Scroll down to the bottom of the “Your Profile” page. Is
Use the visual rich editor when writing
    checked?

Doesn’t work checked or unchecked. I am checking my installed plugins against the list suggested by jimatwork.
