Is there a way to use Visual Studio Code editor to work with the WordPress pages and then upload them to the WordPress folder?

No, WordPress doesn’t create static files. WordPress is a dynamic database-driven content management system, and the pages on the site are stored in the WordPress database.

You can, however, use Visual Studio Code (or any other text editor) to create/edit the theme files. The theme’s PHP, CSS and JavaScript files control the overall layout and style of the pages… but the actual content on the pages are fetched from the database dynamically when the page is requested.
