Visual tab shows html & Preview Changes failing

  • Recently, one particular page has started showing all the html on the visual tab and not showing any toolbar buttons on the visual tab.

    And, when I click the preview button, I am taken to the URL of the unedited page rather than a URL that contains the word “preview”.

    I’m tempted to just trash the page and recreate it from scratch, but I’d rather understand how this happened rather than re-doing all my work.

    Any suggestions?
