Hi. I’m running WP 2.0.1. I’m the admin, no other users.

1:Writing Options>Writing>Formatting– I have the visual text option UNchecked.

2:Users>Your Profile>Personal Options– visual rich editor UNchecked

    3:ALL plugins are OFF.

And yet the visual rich editor is still there when I go to write a new post. Any help please?

Define what you think of as the “visual rich editor” because turning it off in Users>Your Profile is all that is required.

The visual rich editor shows text very differently than the normal editor. But the normal editor still has some quicktag buttons above it. So you may be confusing the two.

Ah, I guess I am confused. I was hoping turning it off would make a particular plugin (simple popup images) work for me. But I guess I’ve got other problems. Thanks for the help.
