First, let’s open with the compliments: All of my students and their parents who saw the new Audio Igniter things happening on my site were impressed with the clean look and easy access to sound files. I was told, though, that some files are not audible. My students were right. The source files (all recorded my phone) play at similar volumes to one another. However, when arranged in an Audio Igniter playlist, the sound degrades, beginning with the 18th track. The first 17 files are clear, the remainder is horrible, consistently, on multiple devices. To troubleshoot, I deleted all low volume files, rerecorded, reuploaded and replaced. Problem did not go away. Is it possible that Audio Igniter cannot handle such a long playlist? Help! I love you too much to lose you!

    Hit here,
There is no way I could replicate this I am afraid. All sound just fine. Does this happen in mobile devices only?

It does not happen in mobile devices only. It happens on PC s running Windows, Chrome, Firefox. I replicated the problem. I copied the problematic playlist into the page for you.

    Hello,
I’m really sorry about your issue — we still can’t reproduce it but we want to get to the bottom of this. We’ve tried this on multiple laptops across our team, I even started playing the playlist from track no 1 and finished it all the way to 22 without skipping tracks in case the issue was caused by perpetual playing but still nothing, I’d go as far to say that Lessons 19-22 have a better quality than the previous ones (probably a better recording). We’ve tested all browsers in both Windows and macOS.

Can you please do me two favors that will be able to help us:
We need to rule out this is not a problem particular to your machine (laptop). Have you tried reproducing the problem in another computer? If not, can you try please.
If you can’t provide us temporary access to your website, can you build the same exact playlist with a native WordPress audio playlist (just add the songs in the same page as a playlist from the WordPress media uploader and it should convert them to a playlist) just to see if it’s a generalized problem with WP or something about AudioIgniter and your computer in particular?

    Fotis, Our lines are crossed.
    * Are you saying that you accessed my website from multiple computers/browsers and you could not duplicate the sound issue that way–Or are you saying that you copied the player portion from my website and then listened in a dev or other environment? You see, I am puzzled because just like you cannot duplicate the issue, I cannot resolve it. The sound quality is the same from all sources we have tried.

Native WordPress playlist: All articles that I read about native describe the old WordPress screens that I do not know how to access. I am on the current version now, and am willing to learn–please advise.

I figured out how to create a native/generic WordPress playlist, and am experiencing the same problem. I will pursue a solution with WordPress. Thank you for the assistance.

Hi @ronaki again, thanks for doing this. At least my team is thankful they’re not going crazy ?? We want to help you get to the bottom of this so let us know if there’s anything we can do, for what it’s worth though, we’re hearing the tracks perfectly fine on our end so most probably your users are also are not experiencing the issue (or at least the vast majority of them). Since we’re looking at the same page i’d go as far as to say the issue might be either in your network (i.e. somehow your network blocks audio after a while for some reason? wouldn’t surprise me) so I would try to check via mobile data on the same device to rule that out.
Another thing we found might be the culprit is windows & android automatic volume adjustment, check these links

    https://www.quora.com/Why-does-my-phone-volume-keep-turning-itself-down-when-I-have-earbuds-headphone-in

Can you please check one thing. When this happens, can you verify if your OS (Windows or mac) volume control actually degrades as well or stays the same?

    Hi @ronaki ,

Everything ok with your issue? I’m closing this as resolved but if you need help with anything feel free to open a new ticket.

You can close the ticket. We determined problem did not originate with your plugin. Thank you for the support. Loving the Igniter!

    Awesome!
If you enjoy AudioIgniter, would it be possible to review it? It would only take a minute and it really means a lot to us ??
