I am trying to set up a basic course where I need to use vouchers so that teachers can buy x number of licenses and then students can simply register using the voucher.

Currently, I cannot make the vouchers work. When I try to register a new user and use the voucher, it says the voucher code is not found. Now the plugin was installed in Danish because my WordPress is set up with Danish. Unfortunately, the Danish translation has quite a lot of errors and I’m not should whether or not when It means voucher versus rebate code.

If you try to register on the page, you can see an option that says: “har du en rabatkode” – which should mean a rebate code and not a voucher. But is the default really that vouchers cannot be used by new users? If so: how do I toggle that on?

The only option that shows on the signup page is for rebate codes. Why is it not possible at default for users to use a voucher and how do I let them do this?

I have options to change most of these fields under Lifter LMS general settings.

Can I edit this page manually as well?
Whether I set the voucher setting to optional or obligatory, it doesn’t show up for the user.

It sounds like there’s maybe some confusion in the translation.

On the checkout page this is a coupon code. A voucher will not work on the coupon code as they are different things: https://lifterlms.com/docs/difference-voucher-coupon/

For a voucher you will want to make sure that open enrollment is enabled: https://lifterlms.com/docs/open-registration/ and during sign up users will be able to enter the voucher code. They can also enter it from the Student Dashboard as well with the Redeem Voucher tab: https://lifterlms.com/docs/use-lifterlms-voucher-system/
