Voucher value depends changes if a coupon is applied
-
Hello
first of all, kudos for this amazing plugin! I love it.
I have seen a little problem, or at least for me, it’s problem.
When you buy a product to receive a voucher, the value of the voucher is what you pay for that product, not the original price of that product.
I will do an example for more clarification.
Let’s say I create the product Sample-product. It costs 50 USD. I associate a voucher of 50 USD to that product.
You buy that product and receive a voucher for 50 USD. Perfect. But if you apply a coupon to buy that product, for example, 20 USD discount, you pay 30 USD to buy that product, and the voucher that you receive is 30 USD instead of 50 USD. This is for me not right. If you buy something that regularly costs 50 USD, you should receive a voucher of 50 USD, and no matter how much you pay in the checkout thanks to coupons. For me the value of that product is 50 USD, so you should receive a voucher of 50 USD in any case.
Like it is now, it would be the same as you buy let me say a guitar, and because you apply a coupon they send you a guitar with 3 cords instead of 6 cords, only because you applied a coupon. I mean the value of the product should not change with the price. The voucher has a value of 50 USD. in my example and the user should receive a voucher of that value. What do you think about it?
Many thanks in advance.
