    Hello

first of all, kudos for this amazing plugin! I love it.

I have seen a little problem, or at least for me, it’s problem.

When you buy a product to receive a voucher, the value of the voucher is what you pay for that product, not the original price of that product.

I will do an example for more clarification.
Let’s say I create the product Sample-product. It costs 50 USD. I associate a voucher of 50 USD to that product.
You buy that product and receive a voucher for 50 USD. Perfect.

But if you apply a coupon to buy that product, for example, 20 USD discount, you pay 30 USD to buy that product, and the voucher that you receive is 30 USD instead of 50 USD. This is for me not right. If you buy something that regularly costs 50 USD, you should receive a voucher of 50 USD, and no matter how much you pay in the checkout thanks to coupons. For me the value of that product is 50 USD, so you should receive a voucher of 50 USD in any case.
Like it is now, it would be the same as you buy let me say a guitar, and because you apply a coupon they send you a guitar with 3 cords instead of 6 cords, only because you applied a coupon. I mean the value of the product should not change with the price. The voucher has a value of 50 USD. in my example and the user should receive a voucher of that value.

What do you think about it?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hello @giuse

    Thank you for your suggestions!

They are very important to us. As plugin developers, we have no way of verifying all the needs of our customers, and thanks to such messages we learn about features that are important to you.

The plugin does not yet offer the functionality you describe.

I will present this idea to the team, and together we will consider the possibilities of implementing it, but in the PRO version of our plugin.

I will inform you if the given functionality will be implemented in the plugin.

In case of further questions, please contact me.

    Best Regards,

    Hello @rzepsen

many thanks to your for your reply.

I’m also a plugin developer, and I know what it means to have feedback.

I suggest you give the possibility to choose in the PRO version, but I would put as default that the value of the voucher is taken by the original price also in the free version. This would avoid that some users thinking your plugin doesn’t work.

When they test your plugin, they do it simulating a purchase, and most of the users do it using a coupon. Those users will receive a voucher with a different value than they thought, and most of the time a value equal to zero. Most of those users will not understand that is because of the coupon and will think your plugin doesn’t work.
Some of them will uninstall it without you knowing it, and others may give a bad review. Some of them will even don’t understand the value is zero, they will just think the discount of the voucher is not applied.
I would avoid that. If you don’t want to calculate the value of the voucher with the original prices in the free version, at least I would warn the user in the backend with a clear and visible message.

I have no other questions. Thank you very much for your reply and I wish you all the best with your amazing plugin.
