Follow the below steps it will display the home page.

Step 1. Add the new page as home page >> Add the title >> check right sidebar you will ” page attribute” >> select “Home Page Template” >> Publish it.

Step 2. Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Home Page Settings >> Select ” Static Page ” >> and in dropdown select home page which have just added >> publish it.

What is not working are: Contact section and Slider Settings.

I have checked your site “https://escolaconfeitariaclub.com/” you have not to select the “Custom Home Page” Page attribute that’s why your slider and contact section is not working. Above I have given the steps if you follow that steps you can definitely get the contact section and slider section.
