I’ve been using W3 Total Cache for some time across multiple sites that have the exact same set up with regard to theme, plugins etc.  In the past few days I’ve become aware of an issue with one site, where the display of blocks I’ve created is different to the other sites.

The other sites do NOT have this issue.

I’ve loaded up images of the behaviour with and without W3 Total Cache activated.  The display is unexpected and not what I want when W3 Total Cache is activated.

    Here’s the images.

(The blocks below the two images at the top are the test blocks that I’ve been using).

And the next link is a link to the support issue I logged with Kadence – as its their block that is behaving differently, you can see that they identified that a piece of CSS was missing in the site with an issue.

Can you direct me as to what setting within W3 Total Cache I need to edit? What is confusing is that I have the EXACT set up on other sites and there is not an issue on them.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @afreedrink

I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to help!
In order to assit you with this, it’s important to know the configuration in the W3 Total Cache so we can determine what may be causing the issue.

Can you please disable the settings one by one in Performance>general settings, save the settings and purge the cache after each setting is disabled and see which one might be causing the issue?

    Thanks!

    Hi Marko

Right, its the MINIFY element that’s breaking it. (reminder, even though the exact same settings are used on 3 other sites that do NOT have the same issue).

Can you give me a steer to troubleshoot this in terms of where else to look for what’s different about this site versus the others. (and what order I should approach it in…

    1. HTAccess?
    2. Additional code in style.css?
    3. functions.php?

    Cheers, Sarah

    Hello @afreedrink

    Thank you for your feedback.

If the issue is gone with Minify disabled, re-enable Minify, and disable the settings in Performance> Minify one by one (HTML Minify, JS Minify, CSS Minify) and see which one might be causing the issue.
Make sure to save all settings and purge the cache after each option is disabled.
    Thanks!

    Hi Marko

It’s CSS Minify. Minify only works fine, its when its either Combine only or Combine and Miniify that there’s a problem.
