• Hi,

    I’m using W3 version 0.9.2.3.
I tested with webpagetest and it does help a little. However, I keep on getting an ‘F’ regarding:

Leverage browser caching of static assets: 50/100
    WARNING – (2.0 hours) – https://www.google-analytics.com/ga.js
    WARNING – (4.0 hours) – https://ba zunder. com/images/kinder-t-shirt-pinguin-wit-zwart-klein.png

    WARNING – (4.0 hours) – https://ba zunder. com/images/kinder-sweater-capuchon-zeilboot-blauw-klein.png
    etc etc

note: I broke the links above on purpose, remove the spaces if there’s any use for you to look at them

So, I searched these forums and found all kinds of settings to tweak, but all expiries are currently one year (31536000 secs). I tried setting the HTML expiry also to one year (default = 3600), but still I get the same message.

After each change I emptied all caches, to make sure everyting got refreshed properly.

What’s strange to me, is that I get the ‘4 hours’ message, while I cannot find any setting set to 14400 secs, which one would expect, since that’s four hours.

    Any thoughts anyone?

I’m still having this problem. Although the site is doing ‘allright’ in terms of speed, it’s something which should be easy to correct.

I don’t know why I didn’t find this last time I googled, but, here is the solution: a straight A from webpage test on all items – ok, except the first byte, but that’s more with hosting to do than optimising

    Very happy!
