W3 Cache update conflicts with BackWpUp plugin

Hello,
Ever since I updated W3 my backups from the BackWpUp plugin are stalling and aren’t delivered to my dropbox folder.
Anyone else having this issue? I know it’s the update because the transfers work fine if W3 is disabled.
