Using W3 Total Cache’s CSS minify breaks Thumbs Rating. The hover cursor no longer shows on the button and the count <?=function_exists('thumbs_rating_show_up_votes') ? thumbs_rating_show_up_votes() : ''?> doesn’t update. Of course disabling the CSS minify worked but I’d rather keep it as it works fine with everything else.

This issue only shows up on Firefox and IE (haven’t tested Safari/Opera)
On Chrome, it works perfectly fine.

    Hi there,

W3 Total has that “power”, breaks a lot of neat things. I don’t know how can I “fix” the plugin so it doesn’t get broken.

However, I just checked your site and it seems to count fine with Chrome. The like button now it’s in blue.

Thanks for the fast response. Yes, like I said: It works fine on Chrome. W3 Total Cache doesn’t break the plugin on Chrome, only on Firefox and IE.

I don’t have the tools right now, maybe I can try to test in IE on Monday.

    What version of IE? 10?

Wondering if there’s any update. Is the only way to disable minify? Why does it work in Chrome but not on Firefox?

    Hi there,

No I haven’t found why it breaks it. I just don’t understand, you should be able to minify the CSS without any issues.

It’s okay, I fixed it by adding some CSS rules manually along with !important calls

    How did you fix it?
